Overwan has been active since 2011 with Liceu Francês, bringing an extensive know-how to networking, Wi-Fi, IT security, virtualization, servers, consulting, technical support and equipment supply.

Initially it began by improving the network infrastructure, also implementing the entire Wi-Fi network in this establishment, covering the administrative rooms, classrooms, and external patios.

It has recently implemented a balanced cluster of servers, providing to teachers and students with a mobile RDP solution, allowing secondary students and teachers to access from anywhere to their work environment, documents, applications, etc. This system automatically manages a total of 2,000 users. Providing each user access to Microsoft Office 365, Google services in a transparent and easy to use.

Next year Overwan will continue to expand our cluster to Primary and Pre-primary school.

Since 2013, in an effort to optimize and rationalize resources, Olisipo has contracted to Overwan all Helpdesk, Network management and computer equipment operations, based on detailed and very demanding SLA levels.

As a result of this measure, we have achieved in our internal processes a significant improvements and efficiency, with faster responses to Helpdesk requests, better performance and reliability of ICT infrastructure and a more rational IT infrastructure management.

Overwan has completed the installation of the wireless network in the central offices of the Tivoli Group in Lisbon, allowing employees and visitors to enjoy total mobility, offered by a network with different access levels and policies for equipments and users.

This solution, through a Wireless Lan Controller, has ensured the proper sessions load distribution, avoiding the usual congestion of these devices and allowing the network users to move inside the building without having connection breaks in their mobile equipment.

In order to improve the security of the electronic information used by all units, OM Pharma chose Overwan for the container design project of IT Room, designed to improve the efficiency and security of the Datacenter, ensuring protection against physical threats, such as: fire, temperature, water, dust, smoke and vandalism.

Considering the significant reduction in the costs of the Datacenter's operation, Overwan's solution will allow a return on investment (ROI) of 3 to 4 years, considering only the component related to energy consumption.
